@Saxmax1988 ...and to say that someone like Kenny G is an idiot or untalented completely disregards the fact that kenny G is NOT trying to be a jazz artist. Do you hear his music on straight ahead jazz radio stations??? NO!! He's not trying to be a jazz artist, but a smooth jazz and adult contemporary music artist... there's a difference. Unless you hear Kenny G playing Giant Steps and making himself look like an idiot, don't say anything bad about him

@Saxmax1988 that's true. I saw people say they don't think he's a beast. Maybe, based off of how he plays, he's not a technical beast like Michael Brecker or Branford Marsallis, but he has a dedicated fan base and has sold millions of CD units. Jazz musicians are often selfish because many of them are trying to impress other jazz musicians... we can't forget that the average, non-musician listener is who will buy our CDs and put food on our table, not other musicians.
