@Nopatienceanymore Um the strange thing is, I've heard exactly the same claims by other ex-Sea Orgs, from different places around the world. Different people, different countries etc, SAME STORY.
-
@Nopatienceanymore I think that thanks to Anonymous, to Senator Xenophon, to various media outlets and of course to Tom Cruise - you will find that the number of Scientologists in Sydney has decreased somewhat in the last 12 months.
-
@Nopatienceanymore Woe there a minute, you say you're NOT a CoS member?? I think you lie!! You admit to once being a Sea Org member, and you are fully supporting CoS in this thread... hmmm, maybe you are a case of "you can take the boy out of Scientology, but you can't take Scientology out of the boy!" I'm sorry if you are female.
-
@Nopatienceanymore Sea Org don't have to do that OT stuff, do they? They have a whole lot of other work to do. So Sea Org is actually exposed to different stuff than the run of the mill CoS member. So you probably are a little weak on some CoS knowledge, hey Nopatience?
-
@Anon9083 You're right there, CoS don't need help to look stupid. They've got Tom Cruise to thank for that!
-
@Nopatienceanymore Yes, I do hate Scientology, because I've spoken to too many ex-CoS not to. I love humanity and CoS hurts humanity. So I hate CoS. And as an atheist, I actually DO hate religions, but cults I hate more.
-
Anon9083 is correct - you don't learn the whole truth until you reach a particular level...until you've invested EVERYTHING YOU CAN into CoS and - despite the new information given you when you've reached "that stage" - you simply CAN'T leave - your whole life now is CoS. Even though you've been provided with the actual CoS beliefs (includes Lord Xenu) you simply CAN'T leave now...(but you can you know...)
-
@Nopatienceanymore Question me then! I know HEAPS about CoS... because I've spoken to many ex-CoS and ALL OF THEM tell me the same stories...
-
@Anon9083 Hi, try not to get into irrelevant debates with CoS members (like whether you like Aaron or not) they are trying to get you off-track about the important issues, such as CoS ruins lives, it renders people penniless, it attacks people who leave and speak against Cos, etc. Otherwise, you are doing a great job Anonymous! It's great to see how far Anon have come in such a short time! :)
I'm really glad that Aaron speaks out and I'm impressed that he has the guts to be so honest and take responsibility for what he did and I hope he gets justice for what was done to him.
Yes, the Xenu story is funny and ridiculous but that is not the reason why we protest this cult. The reasons are all those abuses, destroyed lives and families and all those victims.

Scientology isn't big anywhere. The 2006 census showed that there were only just over 2,000 Scientologists in Australia. That's a bit of a far cry from the 140,000 that Vicki Dunstan says there are. False statistics don't make you look too good.
