So what if it's about killer trees? We watch movies about killer cars, dinosaurs that are created by blood in mosquitoes, houses that get taken over the rainbow. If movies were REAL, then what the hell is the point of a film?
Oh well, I didn't think "The Happening" was Shyamalan's best either, but "The Sixth Sense" is a classic!

I managed to enjoy it because of it's stupidity and randomness.

The premise seems to be that 'the end' usually comes when & how we least expect it. Plus, that nature will have the last say.
