@hendog323 I agree COMPLETELY ... in fact, the Japanese testing is so strict that they consider the COSC as folly for accolades. I don't think that the COSC is ALL bad ... I think it serves a good competetive function ... but the Japanese standards are just SO much better. I lover Swiss watches (automatic) ... but I am starting to go the Seiko route. Imagine a bigger Japanese competing market

I own several high-end Swiss made watches and I don't understand how people cannot appreciate non-Swiss. I appreciate this watch for it's innovation, craftsmanship, and aesthetics. If Spring Drives were not hard to find I would already have one in my collection. For people dismissing it because it's a Seiko, keep in mind although this isn't a Swiss watch, it does surpass the COSC standards of many Swiss watches.
