I saw The Gloria Record in Philly in 2000 I think, they weren't the tightest but it was an amazing show. I think they were doing the tour after a lull in traffic was released.

I've seen them twice. The first was during the Mare Vitalis release and they were terrific. The second was just before Peregrine, and I think they were having an off-night, and the set list was mostly stuff from Peregrine the LLO's and Mare Vitalis. I think the only thing they played off Two Conversations was "Fight Song". Very disappointing. Another band that had great releases but consistently bad live shows was The Gloria Record. Seeing them live was like finding out santa wasn't real.

Sorry about you not having an open mind and understanding that every band undergoes changes and their current lineup ROCKS just as hard as they always did... and I saw them live during the Low Level Owl era... as well as recently. Sucks for you!

I saw them about a month ago with huge anticipation. I've been a fan for ages and sadly it;s the only show i've ever walked out on. Another new drummer I had never seen before. Mark had apparently left, so that was two new unexpected people. They played mostly songs from the new record which is amazing but it was well before it had come out, so no one really knew them yet. It was basically seeing a different band all together. Sorry about the reply rant.
