It was designed to appeal to young people.
Well, I and all my "Young people" friends (17-18 years old) HATE it. Young people take pride in their country! We want symbols that look GOOD! DON'T try to appeal to us with graffiti! Not all of us do that! And even the ones that do still may have some national pride!
