I wouldn't say he's a good person, though. It's pretty well known that he's kind of an asshole in person and in studio. But I don't think people should diss his music; they're two unrelated ends of the same spectrum.

So what if it's well known? If you don't know the person let alone met them what does it matter?. He's human shockingly. None of us are perfect or squeaky clean.
