Did the storyline ever explaine why did that dog/ keymaster crush Maruyama? I thought they were allies?! lmao

Best I can come up with is that he's rather protective of the area regardless of who's invading.

Maruyama is like a hired hand compared to what I guess are the "enchanted" keymasters.

@THEmuteKi From what Mad Dog (the boss) said, I don't think he actually saw Maruyama/Trouble Bruin when he jumped down, and didn't realize he landed on/flattened him.

I think he simply didn't notice Maruyama the whole time. That's why he asked where he was. It was all just an accident that he crushed him.

But I bet in the 8 months since you posted this you probably figured that out. :)

Well the dog said "What in the world could that good-for-nothing bounty hunter be doing?" maybe he was reffering to Maruyama? So maybe there's a grude between the two villains?

Also I think the U.S. stroyline said Maruyama was simply a rival of Headdy and had no mentions of relations to Dark Demon, so he might have took DD invastion to his advantage to destroy Headdy?
