Somalia is not anarchistic, it's controlled through tribal hierarchy. The rebels in Somalia don't follow anarchist principles, nor claim to hold them; no one who proclaims themself as an anarchist would commit acts of oppressive violence. Anarchism is a philosophy based on the idea that government is unnecessary, and human beings can exist PEACEFULLY without leaders. I'd suggest you actually learn about anarchists, their ideals, and their tactics before you criticise them.

How is this anything close to "wasting time"? I think standing up for injustices throughout the world and standing up for freedom and human rights is the most important thing in the world - the opposite of "wasting time". If you think anarchism will never have success in the U.S. you obviously don't realize the direction this country is headed in.

it's typical call them amateurs and what not, but that's just an intimidation technique. the movement of the 70's also "failed" but the experience shaped their outlook. many of them moved into positions of power. take a look around. america is doing a great job destroying itself.

I just explained to you that I am doing something productive, even if in a seemingly insignificant way. You're right, every moron knows anarchism won't succeed in the U.S., but you and I are not one in the same; I'm not a moron. My views know no borders, it wouldn't make a difference if I lived anywhere else. Why would I define the word success using 'successfully' in the definition? The fact you're even replying to this video shows the actions at the DNC and RNC DID make a difference.
