  • I just a matter of taste. I really like the "before sound", much, much more.

  • the best way to go is to buy a japanese 80´s les paul.tokai burny or a greco.gibson will always be a company who doesn´t do things right that way there own government wanna put them put of bussiness.i have a tokai from 1981 is an ls 200 i it will kill any gibson including there VOS line

  • this gibson sounds crappy

  • very well played. But i prefer to play my own notes:-)

  • Larry,

Great sound..how much for a lcpg mod?..I am in Australia so inluding shipping..here's cheers!..

  • Hello there. Just wanted to ask you if the stock standard fadeds are painted with spray or how ? Do you know how many coats of satin nitro are in there ? I need to repaint mine. :( Finish is starting to lose the color but just in the pickguard area... Thanks!

  • I don't know anything about guitars or how to play them, but what I do know is that PG was a genius who knew Exactly, Every time, what the right sound was for every riff, and when to change the sound. And he was so sparing with the notes, most of what you heard was in your own head and not even on the recording. Most players don't know any of this stuff, and That is the mark of the Genius. There are a lot of soundalikes, but only one Peter Green.

  • @daviejtube95 Hi I have the "Push pull" Version of the mod with the FAT wire 57 Gibson pickups.

I spent a bit doing it but its worth it :)

You get a nice bright tone (Even MORE than a Fender!)

This method gives you 4 tone options as you can at a switch change back.

The Cons of doing it with a FAT double lead pickup tho are that if you touch the reversed magnet it buzzes or with the string it goes dead. With a single lead pickup this wouldn't be an issue but you do loose some meat...

  • @daviejtube95 Somehow it doesn't have quite the same depth of the effect as the magnet flip. That's just my experience. Still , it sounds close and leaves the option of a normal middle position.

  • @bramley1001 does the push/pull sound any good? i wanted to do it so i had more options tone wise
