@Namikaze1230 It's one of those things that will never before. You can ask why for years without ever finding an answer. There was a song that I listened to right after my cousin was killed, "Heaven Was Needing a Hero". In this song there's a line that says "It's kept me awake at night wondering, I lie in the dark just asking why...when I try to make it make sense in my mind the only conclusion I come to is that Heaven was needing a Hero...and that's you." It doesn't get easier, I'm sorry. :(
i lost my friend johnathon taylor he literally said i was born free before he left and got killed by an IED he was on patrol and steped on to it. BOOM!!!!!! WHY him not fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEMPER FI
@DennisTredinnick I thank your cousin for his sacrifice for this country. Arlington is such an amazingly sombering place, but you can feel such an energy of honor, pride, and just pure strength there. My cousin does not rest there, we wanted him close to home, but I have visited there and I plan to go back in the future.
I too lost a cousin in Vietnam on Jan.29,1968 in Khe Sanh. He was a Green Beret, Special Forces. He was my hero and I will never forget him. His finally resting place is in Arlington.
