  • @przemstar ...Swiatoslaw Richter gral Liszta w sowieckim filmie "Glinka", i wygladal zupelnie przyzwoicie, z Blechaczem jako Szopenem to ja juz mam trudnosci, no bo on wlasnie taki jalowkowaty, mlody Zimerman bylby stosowniejszy, i w dodatku wie jak grac na fortepianie (no, prawie...). Jaki Szopen mial "ton" to lepiej czytac listy roznych tam arystokratek, a nie prase wiedensko-francuska, ich specjalnoscia byly panie "zawodowe" i jakosc ich uslug...

  • @fredericfranc One thing is sure - if there was film about Chopin - Blechacz should play him, not Adamczyk )

  • @przemstar ...that is very clever...but is it likely that Rafal is actually another Fryderyk?...besides nobody complained about Fryderyk's tone, they just wanted more volume in large concert halls...

  • @fredericfranc imagine that's exactly the same "problems" critics had assigned to Frideric. Muscle let him down, not enough of power, tone short of being convincing - its like reading french press in 19 century

  • Kocham...

  • @blaaaaaagh indeed... I used to play this piece and that section always killed my left arm. And I could never get it nearly that fast without losing control even. Plus his fingers and arms aren't nearly as big as Horowitz's so tis damn impressive indeed!

  • Wow. On jest extra. Kocham muzyke ale jeszcze daleko mi do Jego poziomu.

  • Before every next piece he pulls out that cloth, and goes through that Pontius Pilate ritual all over the place. Who else behaves like this? Hell, must have impressed the jury. His problem at the piano is that his hands, his muscles let him down somewhat. The tone out of the instrument is short of being convincing, like the pianist is almost out of power, running on the backup battery. But he has this classy, measured artticulation, the inherent aristocratic dignity of Chopin's shows.
