why is the buckskin's ears pinned? For his ears being pinned he should be reacting to being yelled and patted on and hes not, he seems fine about everything, is he trying to keep the water out of his ears? *puzzled*

we swimm our horses ever year so much fun and ever one how keeps saying that the horse cant do it shut up it natural the only reason he looks mad is because he when under and got water in the ears

I think what you were able to do with the horses is a beautiful thing. The horse came back to shore with a little water in his ears, not pissed off like many people would think. The horse going underwater is no more tramatic than when a kid dunks another kid's head under water. They get a little water in their nose and ears and that's about it. Not the near death experience that some people here are making it out to be.

You know people, I'm sure she wasn't purposely trying to cause the horse any distress. She made a mistake. I'm sure you don't like it when people are super critical to you when you make a mistake. Besides, I'm glad she made the mistake and still posted it. I was watching videos of horses swimming so I could learn how to do it. I probably would have made the same mistake if she hadn't posted it. I say the horses are beautiful, seem well trained, and well adjusted. I thank you for the post.
