The USB door is the same as the N9 and does 'pull off' but unless you have a replacement it will be floppy when you put it back on.
If you TURN IT ON before the screen is connected you will need to reset the phone by disconnecting the battery for a few seconds.

I used a fan heater for the hot air to soften the glue.

**Someone asked if I could make a video on only replacing the digitizer.
The AMOLED display is made of glass and is 0.45mm thick, even with my patience and experience I seriously doubt I could separate it from the digitizer without breaking it.

Respect there LE55ONS. My Nokia Lumia 800 is working ok but in the upper right corner battery strength is not showing, just sometimes where shows question mark... Also when I go to diagnostics, battery power is not showing, it's just blank, Do you think its a battery problem or just some other hardware ? If it's battery I dont mind buying the new one, but if its hardware I m afraid there's nothing I can do. What do you think ?

It does sound like a battery fault, it might be worth trying a new battery as they have a small chip on board that might be causing your problem

hi, my lumia 800 dindt work anymore (screen was getting loose on the top side) and i had it send to dynafix for a repair. but they said it had some watherdamadge and they couldnt repaire it. can u tell me where the indicator is for proof and can i fix it by myself? thanx alot and thanx for this great vid! thumbs up! greetings Daniel

If they cannot fix it I doubt if you can. Maybe try another repair shop but they might say the same..
