Turn Right- Chapter 2(Season One)

QUICK NOTE: In the story no one is famous, and its currently in the middle of summer break.

*Regina's POV*
Aly and Barb were over my house. We were coping by stuffing our faces with ice cream, chips, cookies, pretty much anything unhealthy. Also watching re-runs of a discontinued soap opera. OH! And all in the dark, in our pajamas.
Aly: AMY! DON'T FALL FOR BEN'S TRAP! HE'S CHEATING ON YOU WITH MARGARET!
Barb: Sounds too firmiliar.
I shut off the TV. She was right. It sounded exactly like our pathetic lives. I thought maybe we should go out with our friends. To get our minds off this for a bit. "You guys..you wanna head out with the girls?"
Aly: And go where?
Barb: We could go to the Ice Cream barn. They just got in 3 new flavors. Lime Chocolate Chip, Strawberry Marshmellow, and Blueberry Mint.
They didn't exactly sound appetizing, but what the hey? So we called up Yoshi, Jayme, Ashlee, Jazz and Kat. Of course Yoshi and Jayme HAD to bring Taylor and Lucas. But whats it matter? They're all our friends all the same. Kat drove one car and Barb drove the other. This would be a perfect way to show off the fact that Aly, Barb and I don't need guys to complete us. Especially not cheaters. We walked into the ice cream place and took our usual table right by the window. Jazz took the liberty of taking our orders and getting our ice cream, since Jayme, who usually does it, couldn't BARE to release herself from Lucas' arms.
Ashlee: You guys are better off without them anyway.
She said that referring to our current conversation
Yoshi: I know, they're just jerkfaces.
Pretty much everybody at our table was talking about it except for me, Aly, and Barb...who were still a little zoned out. Then I noticed someone from across the way. He was at the table directly across from ours at the other side of the place. He had brown wavyish and was making eye contact with me with his light brown eyes. I couldn't take my eyes off him. I shouldn't even be thinking about guys right now. Not after whats happened recently. Thankfully Jazz returned with our ice cream and I broke my gaze on him. But...the way he was looking at me...was just like the way Mark looked at me the first time I met him. It must be clear he's bad news too. Regina, you can't go down that road again.
Jayme: Are you guys okay?
Jazz: Seriously, you've been zoned out the whole time we've been here.
Taylor: We can always take you back home if you need more time to chill.
"No, we're okay. Right, guys?"
Aly and Barb: Right.
Barb: Besides, the more time we spend out, the less time we waste thinking about and crying over...THEM.
Ashlee: That's true. Let's talk about something else. How about that new mix CD I got for my birthday? Pretty cool, huh?
Aly: Yeah! It had like, all the top ten songs!
Yoshi: Not to mention the bonus track, the UNRELEASED song from Taylor Swift!
Lucas: Yeah, how'd you get that anyway?
Ashlee: My dad works for a record label.
Jayme: You know, Ash. My birthday is coming up soon, too.
And we all started laughing. Then...as always...curiosity got the better of me. I looked back to the table where 'he' was sitting. He had been looking down at his ice cream and making conversation with the other people at his table, when he looked back up at me. Our eyes locked for about 3 seconds until, of course, a girl walked over to him. Figures.
*end POV*
