The 2CT (two compound construction) features a wear-resistant hard rubber middle with soft high-grip rubber shoulders. The shoulders of the front tires have been widened for an even greater degree of grip while the XST (X-Sipes Technology) used on both front and rear tires is a more intricate groove system that disperses more water away from the tires and eliminates water film. These are a great choice for the sport, street, touring or even track rider.

@bradmanuwf LOL Working on it Brad. I was at the IMS show and a rider stopped me and said, "your crotch is famous on Youtube." I told him I was not sure how I felt about it or the fact that he said it outloud in mixed company.

I've got a couple thousand miles on my Road 3s and I feel real confident flying thru San Diego's canyon roads with them on my Speed Triple. Very grippy. That wet stuff from the sky is never a factor for me, though, so I can't comment on the 3s wet handling... it just doesn't happen here often enough to bother riding in the stuff...

I ride a Honda CBF 500A with this tires. The wet grip is so great and they also work on warm weather conditions. But it's not a sport tire! If you drive a sportsbike, you should take another tire.

pilot road 2s sux no feed back shit in the wet!!!!!!! the pilot road 3s look good. they look like they hav awesome wet grip will hav to see how they go.. im carving with pirelli angels and they are awesome..

i love my pilot road 2s so my next round of tire will be the new pilot road 3s , but it may be a while because the pilot road 2s last for ever LOL
