Cleaned up the interior of the KW this summer. Painted all
metal with hammertone brown. Instead of the pressed cardboard
inserts, I used brushed aluminum panels (it was free). For the headliner,
I used 1/16" fiberglass sheeting that Menards sells, painted the same
hammertone brown. Added the Tachograph under the dash,
speedometer is not hooked up, but clock works when you wind it up.

  • @kblackav8or Thanks, I made it, it is just polished aluminum. The panels above the doors are from the same

stock. The gauges are for the main box, brownie, front driver and rear driver, in that order. The wires run

across the windshield, over the passenger door, then down the cab corner. Comes out right behind the

main box to pick up the first temp sensor.

  • I like the guage panel above the windshield. Did you make that or was it already there? I need to do something similar to my 59.

  • @1968spawn Just a few cans of spray paint from Ace Hardware.....
