What a fun satire! Bravo for a simple idea! I was hoping at the end that he discovered that he got turned around and only really went a mile out...and then came back, thinking he was in Canada.
The widest part on the lake is almost 70 miles. There is no way in hell this guy walked across it. The lake only freezes all the way over every 15 years and even then there is open water in spots.
If this was a true walk across lake erie this guy is a retard. Didnt even check the ice he was walking on. What a moron!!! WOW i walked across the lake to Canada im cool. Oh yeah i forgot my brain at home.
NOTHING TO EAT? BOTTLE OF WINE? SPARE SOCKS? A MIN OF A 15HR WALK, AND NO FRESH UNDERWEAR FOR THE FRIGHTENING EVENT OF NOT BEING ABLE TO MAKE IT, AND SOILING YOUR SELF???? I commend your bravery, and see the do not try this note, BUT HOW DID YOU GET BACK HOME??????????
I grew up on lake Erie and have sailed it and flown orver it winter and summer and anyone who tried to walk it in reality would have to be an idiot. The chances you would make it are slim. If it was frozen straight across it would take a long long time.
Nice

Do I feel the need to cross the lake on a snow mobile, 15 hrs to walk would mean about 6hrs on a snow mobile.....

I think the video is cool and funny...if you believe it is at all even true, you're a moron yourself. Neat video though!
