the classic designs are popular because these boutique ones are much more expensive than today's common guitars, not just in price, but also because they are harder to resell than a les paul or a strat. it's not that guitarists are fearful, conformist, traditionalists, but that they are not filthy rich, and when making an investment of this magnitude, want to buy something that they know they will cherish long after the honeymoon phase.

They sound pretty decent, but fuck they're ugly as shit.

@Hysteriskull You're completely right! I see the guitar players so attached to the same designs and sounds over and over...

@Aberinkulas Lots of people need something else than a strat. "More" is the wrong word here.
-
They're nice and all but who needs more than a strat?

Full marks for trying something different.
Guess the Hendrix "thumb-over-the-neck technique" is out when playing the second guitar.
I swear a someone like Westone made a guitar with adjustable pickups back in the wacky 80s guitar craze.

The Tesla sounded nice. Not sure bout the first one tho

Teufel is the German word for Devil. That is probably why these guitars are so cool.

They are like the new fender. Very innovative and cool and more important they sound very good.
-
Well, ...that's different. Almost art deco.

Birdfish looks like a cross between a guitar, a ray gun and a super soaker.

i might rock the niwa but i will always go to a les paul first
@mrbiotech - The fretwork and playability was amazing on all three guitars. It seems nothing escapes Uli's notice when he's crafting these guitars.
