Little comparison of special menus (opened with key W) in old good 2.49 Blender and new almost better 2.58.
Ton give us the knife and bevel back. Please. :)

@AniCator ufffff. maybe for blender 2.6 or further. however you can still download the avocado or bmesh branch at graphicall and try the new freatures like Ngons and Disolve

and the new bmesh knife is also better than the old one. you can rotate the view while defining the cut

the Avocado brach, whicn implement Bmesh, has also a nice Knife tool. It also has bevel. Hopefully, when Bmesh is stable enough it will be merge with Trunk. maybe blender 2.6?
