How the home made plasma cutter torch head is put together. After trying home made torch heads I decided to use a commercial torch head because they have better air control and cut cleaner. This "Replacement" torch head accounts for most of the cost for my plasma cutter.

Please note this is for informational purposes only! This device is not isolated from ground and in this current version could, under correct circumstances, cause a lethal shock. This device was tested on a dry concrete slab and show a open to ground voltage of 7.3 volts.

  • Just find a commercial model you like and then order a "replacement head" don't let them sell you all the extras other than electrodes and tips.
