Top 10 "Reasons" Why Mormons Should Oppose Gay Marriage!

Please watch the whole video before emailing me. NOTE: This video is done 'tongue in cheek'! These are arguements I have encountered when listening to church members/leaders discuss gay marriage. I am pointing out how ridiculous the arguments are using church history, beliefs and practices. (No, the church doesn't forbid the elderly to marry...that's the the point!)

In case you are wondering, I was an active member of the mormon church for more than 30 years, so I do know church history, doctrine, and policy.

If you still think that I am actually saying the church was forced to give the priesthood to the blacks, you are beyond my help. I cannot spoon feed this to you further. I will not endlessly haggle the merits of this video in the comments section. If you would like to post a thought out video response to this video, I will allow it after review.

Those reasons are so outrageous! Its all religious reasons. You cant give one good reason y gay marriage should be illegal besides religion. being homosexual IS NOT A CHOICE so how the hell can gay couples raise their kids to be gay??? If gay people get married, how can this hurt u in any way??? How will affect u in any way???

Please read through all of the comments and the "more info" section to see that this isn't a video dissing gay marriage... it is quite the opposite. I don't believe you were raised LDS, or you would have recognized how ridiculous the comments were that I made about Mormon beliefs. The point I was making is that Mormon reasoning for opposing gay marriage is flawed, and by forcing everyone to live by their standards goes against their own doctrine.

It's well over 1%, and most countries don't even bother themselves with such a non-issue, much like gays in the military. Only countries like the USA and Islamic retards bother themselves with trivialities, because they're FUCKED UP WITH RELIGION!

"Protecting respect" for others' beliefs is a sham and a ruse.

The only respectable yardstick by which one person should hold another accountable (adults only) is their beliefs. Skin color, sexuality, ethnic background are the pillars of bigotry. But beliefs are what we do to ourselves, and so it's open season on superstitious nonsense, as far as I'm concerned!
