They dont want this car in usa because they wont make as much money from gas thats the only reason dont be stuped

bluemotion version has 2.0 TDI 170bhp and only (120g/km) CO2 emissions, that qaulifys for £30 road tax!!! that better than Audi or BMW!!!! Holy smoke!!!

We have got one, but but I think the car is not so nice, audi is a much better

@Jakobguldager Hardly! They have taken out a lot of the options. No rear electric windows! No centre armrest. No chrome surrounds to the windows. No floor mats (have to pay extra).
Go for the 2.0 110 PS Highline. Much better value

Love VW love Passat
Mine normal 1998 variant already goes 1litre 18,6 kilometer.
While having (chip tuned) 143 HP and 300NM it can do >200 Km/H
Its amazing u can drive 1000 kilometers without having to feul.

seriously?! bluemotion isn't coming to the US because washington won't let it? god, the govt. here seems to become a little more stupid every passing day, they should use some logic in their thinking for once, and a lot less of personal gain. i wish there was a font to describe the frustration in my typing.

What an amazing car, its lucky VW were allowed to use slave labour during the war, otherwise they might be decades behind with their Blue Motion technology.
