It's compensated by her difficulty to combo.
Utsuho's damage is broken powerful. Her dial-A deals 2.5k damage D:

Meiling is my favorite since she really fast and i dont know much skills but all i know for now is that she doesnt have far projectile moves except 1 as far as i know which makes things interesting for me :D

Meiling has beautiful combos. Problem is we don't see many of them due to the limits of her range.

Does not Meiling's modified 22B/C (Jam-style kick) recover more quickly at higher levels?
So, at Level MAX, that kick should link to her (air) 5A.

They should have made some of their moves to be more comboable. There are a lot of restrictions to her combos (Just see what she can do in Monsoon weather)... still, there are characters like Tenshi or Youmu, who can pull some very damageful (but difficult) combos. What i'm trying to say is that Meiling should have some very damaging combos for PRO players but she doesn't have then. Most of her combos in Clear weather don't get to 3000 as some of the high dificulty combos of other characters.

but Meiling is already the fastest character in 12.3 in terms of recovering through blocked attacks and her 2a is even faster than Youmu. making her combo's do more damage would just make her too imbalanced. I don't mind it though.

0:00 - 0:38 and 0:44 - 0:47 can be done without the monsoon weather.
