@khav11 .......The thing with Behn is that he retired early and didn't play as an old man. ALL fighters in ANY form of fighting be it hockey, boxing or MMA will start to lose as they get older. It's a fact of life. That's why I don't care if some guy beat Probert when he was 35. It doesn't prove anything. Unfortunately we can't get fighters from different eras to fight in their primes so you have to asses them by their skill sets, not just their won lost record.
@khav11 Not at all. I love the Flyers fighters. Behn was one fo the best and so was Brown. When it comes to fighters I am not partial to any team. But I look at other things beside won lost record because that doesn't tell the whole story. You don't judge Muhammad Ali on his losses when he was older. You judge him in his prime. Does anyone honestly think that Leon Spinks would beat a PRIME Ali? Of course not. That's why I have no doubt a prime Probert would beat Ken Belanger.........
@SCROGY it was indeed a good stroke by nicky but wilson had a excellent chin took it like a man the fight was titanic its ashame not to call this one a draw both men did some good job i can understand a narrow lose wilson but draw is my call and many sites have it that way scrogy i wonder whats wrong about you and the flyers every flyers i recall you talkshit them wether its berube brown or wilson at least admit it they were one of the toughest if not the toughest of their era.....
@khav11 Dude. Explain to me how you can be a better fighter than the guy that kicked the shit out of you. I'd love to hear that. And most of Proberts losses were long past his prime and unlike Wilson he didn't hang up his skates after 9 seasons. Brown beat Probert? You mean in that boring hug fest where Brown held on for like a minute? How was that a fair fight while the rematch wasn't? You're just making excuses because Brown got decked. And again, Brown wore a jersey with tight cuffs.
@khav11 Wilson won Plett though in their serie from what i have seen their 3 scrap.
Clear win Plett, TKOwin Wilson and Narrow win Wilson.
Wilsaon was excellent but i think not as good as Probert, Brown and Brashear.
Sorry brother.
