Plantar fasciitis, the most common cause of heel pain, is the inflammation and tearing of the fascia, a ligament on the bottom of the foot. It is classically known as causing pain at the inside of the heel at the first step in the morning. Plantar fascitis is caused by abnormal foot mechanics in combination with poor quality shoes and overuse. Conservative treatments for plantar fasciitis include resting, icing, stretching, heel lifts, heel cups, weight loss, supportive shoes, orthotics and night splints. • Hi guys!!

Today i had work fro about 8 to 9 hours. Its a standing job.

During the end of my shift, i felt sharp pain on both of my heels. :(

I came home and realized its swollen. I cant walk much, i limp alot.

    Could i have this problem?

Should i wear similar to an splint overnight?

  • actually it's a combination of all the above! I've had it since last July and now it seems to get better. A night splint is very helpful indeed as well as massage by a physiotherapist.
