Real Anorexia

i've been noticing that a lot of people have been claiming anorexia...but then acting like it's a trend and they jus wanna be part of the new thing.
this is not in support of eating disorders but a video with descriptions of how meh eating disorder is real to me and not jus a fad.
I am not saying that all the people in this video are anorexic, their pictures are simply being used to convey a disease through visuals.
please express your opinions but do so in a respectful, educated manner or not at all.
this video has nothing to do with you if you don't like it or if you just think anorexics are attention-hogs who need to eat a sandwich...i don't want to hear it.
get a life and look up some video you do agree with if this makes you mad.

@KingWithoutaCause Refusing to eat is the one thing they feel gives them control. They feel out of control in other parts of their life, so they obsess over one part they feel they can control. First, it may be a diet, but dieting causes changes in brain chemistry, so the disorder takes over, and before they know it, the diet is controlling them. It's all about the ILLUSION of control. When really, they're slowly killing themselves. It's not even about the food. That's just how it manifests!

This is one of my favorite songs. And not all anorexics are skinny. When I started out I weighed in at 270 pounds and in less then 4 months I dropped to 220 through unrelenting exercise and refusing to eat, or tricking people into thinking I was. And it's aweful. I remember trying to chug down a gallon of water in wal mart parking lot begging myself not to eat later, cussing myself out. The sickening feeling of a full stomach. So many people think it's a choice.. It's a prison. like the song lol

@XxXKingdomXxXHeartsX So it's just a mental thing? I've noticed many have said this. The majority of anorexics I have seen were insecure with themselves therefore making them turn to anorexia.
