Killing Maryland Blue Crabs

Killing Maryland Blue crabs with an icepick before steaming for a delicious crab feast. This was a first for me and I was guided by a local person that showed us how it's been done in her family for generations in Maryland. The crabs are layered in the pot, a heavy sprinkling of old bay, another layer, another sprinkling until full, then steamed. Wow, it was great and fun too!

going to jump on the band wagon here, why are you stabbing them and trying to kill them before cooking them?, The whole point of getting live blue crabs is to cook them, when they are still alive, as fresh as possible

i completely agree with people saying we should eat animals. But come on joking around and laughing at them mocking and saying i think we need to amputate it ( the poor crab hanging on for dear life). People who disliked this: You gotta kill it to grill it. God put these animals here for us to eat! Not to have a fun little happy lives! Look, im from MD and we got our fair share of crabs! So, its not hurting anything! Plus my father was born and raised on smith island so i know what im talking about!
