This Black Forest cuckoo clock is weight-driven by three lead pine cones- one to keep time, one for the cuckoo bird to make its hourly and half-hour call and one for the music. The bellringer pulls the cord the same number of times as the coo-coos. Two couples twirl around the the balcony to the tune of Edelweiss or the Happy Wanderer as the waterwheel churns and the four musicians sway to and fro.
