@MeggieXOXOXO yes, since then I've figured out what I was doing wrong. My shadows are great now :) I tried to get on the forum but for some reason it's been down every time I try :(

Extender white is only used as a filler and to give pigments texture,slip and adhesion. You should switch your base powder to a mix of titanium dioxide,magnesium stearate and sericite. Zinc stearate is needed to bind the powders as well as a few other powders that TKB sells and you need a liquid binder such as fractionated coconut oil to make the pressed eyeshadow smooth and hold everything together.

@MsChupla I have a video on that already. You can press it with alcohol and a dimethicone binder (TKB Trading has one called EZ Press or something like that). You can press it alone, or I recommend using a base powder like the extender white that they sell as well (which is just titanium dioxide and plain mica).

for the shimmer micas how should i press those ?

@12quillemall5321 yes, I've been using a motar and pestle. I find they are nice before pressing, and then once pressed, they turn to crap :( I will use your advice about the mica. I def don't use any lake dyes or carmine. Thanks for the tips!

For matte shadows you have to use a coffee grinder or mortar and pestle to grind and evenly blend the mattes. Mattes are very hard to press and retain the pigmentation. I always blend in some mica of the same color. Avoid lake dyes and carmine near the eyes.
