  • I was on this train last week. There is a condensation issue with a few cars and every time the train slows down (during cold weather) the roof leaks cold water on your face. When I brought my concern forward to the the attendant on the train he laughed in front of several others and said: "yeah, it's been like that for five years now. It's an engineering flaw that can't be fixed". I've been telling everyone whenever possible to avoid Via-Rail!

  • @DeconAtlantic. I use VIA Rail several times a week in the corridor. I occasionally take the Ocean and other services as well. I have never heard or experienced that problem. Contact VIA Customer service about the problem.

  • why is the train going so slow?? :L

  • @1997seanmac . The train was doing 60mph and it was climbing a mountain bend I beleive in Nova scotia that has many tight turns.

  • im not very crazy about the comfort class on that train but i've been on sleeper it's grrrreat lollolzzz

  • @Alex49railfan I always travelled in Sleeper class from Montreal to Halifax. The deluxe rooms have great showers.

  • COOL!!!

  • Cool! Do comfort class people get to use the dining cars?

  • @PatrickTomaszewski10 I was travelling on car 4, through a light snow storm on the side of the train which as the two seats side-by-side. I had the window-seat on the other side of the lavatory. When water first leaked onto us (3 customers), we suspected leaking pipes. As mentioned in my prior statement Via-Rail attendants laughed it off (twice) to make light of the situation because there's nothing that can be done about it. Since you travel this train often, avoid seats near the lavatory.

  • @TheREALSARAB LOL!

  • @1997seanmac because the train is pregnant with so many ppl ;)

  • wish i was on a train right now :)

  • @PatrickTomaszewski10 ohhh in ireland we have alot of tight turns too sept we have trains that tilt and go 235km/h

  • went on this train from Montreal to Toronto .

  • @alvima1986 VIA doesn't have to worry too much about making a buck. It's a crown corporation funded by the government, with our tax dollars...

  • @shnorth888 as if. if dat were the case via would go bankrupt from all the money wasted on these coaches

  • thanks for taking me to the toilet. i really needed to pee

  • @MrArmenian10 After the next station, the train was SOLD OUT!

  • where is everyone?

  • After Moncton, NB this train was SOLD OUT!

  • Train cars are empty, how do VIA survive ???

  • I like the interior of these cars. Amtrak should get cars like this.

  • thets a nice train

  • Cool video.

  • From what I understand the Renaissance Cars will be retired in the next few years. Hopefully the Ocean will return to the Stainless steel cars.
