Contour SVT 3L Turbo Initial Starts

February 2009 Turbo Install Initial Power on. Just completed the installation. Car was revving on its own due to a massive air/vacuum leak. It was the Lower intake manifold gasket that took a dump on me. Car looked great and the spooling turbo made me drool.

so your using a 3.0L block (built?) with 2.5 heads and intake? stock mtx75 gearbox ?

@rs200000000000 Whole Engine is Taurus 3.0 Block and Heads with Contour SVT Cams and Timing equipment and ported to accept Contour SVT Intake Manifolds. Torsen ATB Diff in the MTX75

@TSTraction you kno atonmartin's current v12 is basically two of those 3.0L mazda v6's like whats in your car.

@rs200000000000 Yes its funny that some parts are shared out of the Aston but its not many at all. But this isnt the case anymore. Ford doesnt own Aston Martin anymore. And by the looks of the several new Aston Martins on the block I live on, I can assure you there is nothing shared between them.

@NitroGadvRules i must be thinknig of the old 2.5 that was in the old mondeo/ contour and mazda mx6/ford probe

@rs200000000000 those are actually ford engines not mazda engines. First car to get it was the ford mondeo/contour 2.5l version, than the taurus, and sable were the first to get the 3.0 version in 96. It didn't end up in a mazda until 2002.
