High voltage coil opperates according to Lenz's Law at 400 RPM because coil impedance is low enough to allow current to flow. Energy is stored in the Electromagnetic Field.

Above 900 RPM coil impedance has restricted current flow enough that energy is stored in the Electrostatic Field like a capacitor - when the capacitor stored voltage discharges through the coil's resistance it produces an electomagnetic field which accelerates the rotor - rather than decelerates it according to Lenz's Law.

I think it would run faster and more efficiently without all those magnets and coils connected. No point in trying to improve an already efficient motor design. May aswell design a new one from scratch.

does the coil heat up and burn up if it run for a longer period of time?

does it still up and running if you disconnect the dc supply ?

what happen if you add more coil around it?
