@ThatNatalieGirl Yes, he may have more soul. But Idol has seen soulful "matt" types since season 1. Don't get me wrong, he has a great voice, but Adam was a star, and they knew it. They judges expected Adam to win, becuase they knew a star had been discovered. Michael Jackson wanted to meet Adam, but unfortunately, he died before he had the opportunity. If Idol was rigged, Adam definately would have won.

i mean seriously, take a listen to matt, then compare his soul and authenticity to adam's overdone, dramatic image. the unusual, over the top artist has been done and redone, but voices and talent like matt are concrete, genuis.
