john was a wonderfull guy to talk to and be around , seen him everytime we went to the boat races , he was a truly gifted boat racer and a great guy he will be missed , from all the guys at atlanta speed shop

watching john and afew others as a kid on gun lake is what got me into fast boats, he was always nice and eazy to talk with......he is someone to look up to and will be missed!!

I went for a boat ride with John many years ago on Miner Lake and I will never forget it. What a thrill. He was certainly one of the best!
