  • OK. Where do I sign up for the official Elizabeth Warren fan club? Intelligence wrapped in integrity and grit.

  • @Jesusizjdoe Consumer credit helped get us here. A debt based, consumer/service economy will never last.

Anyone who praises the criminal, Geithner, must be a criminal also. "Protecting consumer credit" AKA making sure everyone is in debt to Geithner's Wall St. crook friends.

  • Is it true what I heard that Warren was appointed to the post to make the American people gain confidence in the Obama administration but that Obama winked to Wall Street that she would have no influence on their business. And that to insure they have nothing to worry about as the Fed will continue to back them in their business as usual riskless activities (riskless to them) while the taxpayer is still very much at risk?

  • Anything Geithner is for I am against, LOL. If Warren cannot tell that Geithner is a snake she has poor judgement. He will be rewarded by being made CEO of Goldman Sachs soon after leaving office.

  • @dlmaniac If the CFPB turns out like the FDIC, we should celebrate. Check "This American Life", #377, "Act Two: Unbreaking the Bank" for an excellent piece of radio reporting by Chana Joffe-Walt. Her chronicle of a bank takeover shows FDIC employees in action, and they are impressive. It's easy to see why not one depositor with money below the maximum insured amount has lost savings since 1933. I think you actually meant to be upset about the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999, right?

  • @centurion180ad Is Mrs. Petraeus covering up, too? Elizabeth Warren hired her for a position at the CFPB, protecting military families from predatory lending. Yeah, maybe the wife of the general is yet another blood-sucking bureaucrat.

Seriously, man, we have to know who our friends are. If we tar everybody in government with the same brush, NONE of the good people will ever want to fight for what's right--it won't be worth all of the name-calling and character assassination.

  • @centurion180ad SCREW YOURSELF Go Elizabeth !!!!!!!!

  • Nobody 2012.

  • @toplawyer2007 Actually, he's Episcopalian.

  • Geithner is Jew
