Slash only wanted to be in the audience to witness Adam's performance but the producers were persistent to get him to mentor (search: Slash talks about Adam Lambert 5-20-10). He did it for Adam n that is the coolest thing to have happened. Queen's Brian May was blown away by Adam's talents. For the first time on Idol history, Led Zeppelin allowed their song to be sung by Adam. Pink, Gaga n Justin Hawkins gave Adam their songs. For those who don't get it, go figure!
