The 42nd annual KINETIC GRAND CHAMPION SCULPTURE RACE of Humboldt County was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Here are some video clips that I shot and pieced together from the start of the race on Day #1 in Arcata, California.
The Kinetic Grand Championship is a 3-day, 42-mile bicycle race over land, sand, mud and water. Many refer to the Kinetic Grand Championship as the "Triathlon of the Art World."

Being that this incredibly wacky and bizarre race has been centered around Eureka, CA (hometown and birthplace of the great musical genius, Mike Patton) for the past 42 years, I thought it would be absolutely ridiculous NOT to edit this footage to some of the music from his latest Masterpiece "Mondo Cane"!
