I have NEVER played any strategy games like this before and it caught my eye recently? In your opinion, is it fun and somewhat easy to pick up for someone like me who's never played before?

@rhino787 for a beginner, i would probably recommend EU3 over this, but it can be a streamlined and easy to play game if you can get the hang of it.

I found this game way too buggy. I get random crashes and the game is now telling me I can't influence other nations because I'm not a Great Power but I'm playing as the UK and I'm only a few months into the game (hence I am currently the greatest power)? lol

@panosmel97 That is because Hearts of Iron 3 is set in World War 2.

I really like Victoria 2, I'm hooked to it.

That is just in my opinion.

@FlyingMacguffin i have played some total war games before and i loved them.what i didnt like is that they espicialize well... in 'total' war and diplomacy is just shit.my most trustworthy allie will backstub me FOR NO REASON.i came across the paradox games.not sure which to pick.i dont care about the time line i like them all.im bewteen hoi3 eu3 and victoria2.heard hoi3 is more about military and short so its a turn off.which 1 do you suggest?
