he is very opinionated. Ubuntu may install proprietary software, but in some cases there's no choice to do so. Users need drivers. I would like Richard Stallman to have an intelligent talk with Ubuntu creator Mark Shuttleworth. I like Mark a hell of a lot better than Richard. I think Richard's comments on Ubuntu are highly inconsiderate and very, very rude

thats not what he is saying at all.
He means freedom to look at the source code.
You can charge whatever you want for the software you develop or don't develop for that matter.
