Hold up. You can eat raw collards in a wonderful delicious salad. Chop them up real fine, add some finely chopped kale, dice some red bell peppers and red onions, add some sweet yellow raw corn kernels and your favorite salad dressing. Umm Umm Good!!!

no i cook them, by boiling, steaming or stir frying. Thanks for the heads up. I never had any desire to eat them raw, and now that you told me this, i definitely wont.

do you have an enlarged throat? then you may have goiter. Do not eat collard greens raw everyday, they must be cooked.
