A bit of a story that goes with this song. A very good friend of mine's father is in the USMC and was deployed in Iraq for a year and a half. It was pretty rough on him, and me too because he helped me out when my grandfather died. So I gave him a song to listen to and told him to have a good listen to the lyrics and it helped him get through the year without his dad. The song wasn't "American Soldier" by Toby Keith....It was "Hold On" by Kansas.
