While you are correct about many points, the part about the Russian army not being huge is WRONG. The Germans captured over 3.5 MILLION Soviet troops during the first months of Barbarossa. That is a huge army by itself.

@SmokeNProfits also u must understand that without the us the ussr would have been annihilated because had it not been for the US the Japanese would have joined in Barbarossa and if that happened well u guys would be known as east Germany. One last thing NOT one country won the war!! without the ussr we would have lost, without England we would have lost and without USA we would have lost.

@tranmere789 It is the true . Stalin sent to Siberia leadership of communist party from Leningrad because he was jealous that they showed very good managment between citizens during the siege ( considering its grave sitaution)

What people in west hardly know is that Lenin and Stalin actually hated Leningrad. Leningrad was too "cosmopolitan" and bolshevism has never so much support amoung people of Leningrad than in Moscow. After the "liberation" NKVD started immediately arrest civilians of Leningrad and sent them to concentration camps or Berija's "gardens" as prisoners used to call them.

@SmokeNProfits i feel like your comment is somewhat biased.... But yes, the Germans were VERY smart... i don`t know a whole lot about the Russians. But my Grandfather who was in WW2 says that they were also very dangerous.

We did not need help in 10 century, and we do not need today.

You forget other small reasons. Partisans' movement, army, and 190 millions people fighting for life (for right to live by our law). Territory from Pacific to Baltic Sea and Black Sea, and from Arctic Ocean to China and Iran.

8 millions soldiers and 18-19 millions of civilians were chose death instead "Hitler the Liberator".
