  • I connect my turntable to my sound card to make MP3's but if I connect the turntable to my Microphone Jack on my camera wil I get a good audio and video recording of the record? disneysongtape

  • @disneysongtape

Then use those record-to-mp3 in the video edition and the video recordings at the same time. This is a dubbing.

  • I am confused now. My turntable only has one set of connecting plugs. How do I hook it up to my camera and sound card to make one video of the record playing and the audio together? disneysongtape

  • @disneysongtape

1-Connect the turntable output to the pc input and start mp3 recording.

    2-Start recording with the videocamera.

Make the mix using the video and the mp3in the video editor program.

  • I just bought a video Camera. How to I get it hooked up to make videos like this? The regular Mic picks up too much background noise. thanks disneysongtape

  • @disneysongtape

    Hi.

I use the camera mic only for recording the background noise (record changer noises) and simultaneously the turntable output is connected directly to the sound card on the pc to get the best sound!

  • Hi. All the old amplifiers has included a preamplifier for the phono signal, so you can connect directly the amp to the phono in of the pc sound card. You can use too a preamp to connect to the pc. I think you can find some options in Ebay. There are turntables prepared to connect via usb directly.
