Heart of Ice Episode 10-Season 1

Info: This one is NOT as funny. I might start some DRAMA! And sorry about the pictures-I had no more :(
And it's summertime. I WAS going to do one on a Christmas party. However, I decided to skip it.

Demi’s POV

It was REALLY HOT TODAY. I’m dead serious. The heat was burning, there was a huge line in front of Pinkberry, and I was running. I could feel the heat of the pavement burn through my Converse. I was sweating like heck even in a tank and shorts. However, I kept running, staring at the flyer I had in my hand.

One I reached the veranda on my house, I tapped on the door roughly. My older sis, Dallas, opened it, running her hand through her sandy brown hair. “What?” She asked me. “Aren’t you gonna let me in?” I said, grinning. She gave a chuckle and opened the door a crack wider. “Yes Miss,” She huffed under her breath.

Once I got in, I showed her the flyer. “A talent search?” Dallas asked quizzically. “Yep! It’s like American Idol, except it’s with Disney. It was like the one Selena did-“ “Aren’t you gonna finish your skating lessons?” I looked up. “Skating lessons?”

“I signed you up with Kev again for the summer. When’s the talent search?” I groaned inwardly. I loved skating (okay, and a little bit of hockey,) but I also wanted to have a career in singing. I wanted to be the next Kristi Yamaguchi times Madonna. “It’s in August, Tuesdays and Thursdays.”

The talent search was starting in July, and was on Wednesdays and Fridays. I explained, and ran upstairs all giddy. I pulled on a pair of skinny jeans after switching my shorts. I was heading to the ice rink to tell Joe.




I slid into the bleachers, behind Coach Olsen and Dylan Leigh. Dylan was sassy, pretty, and bold, with reddish hair and green eyes. She was Davis Phillip’s girlfriend and always sat at the ice rink to watch his games. I saw Kevin give a wave (which I returned,) and then watched Joseph on ice.

The hockey players talked while playing. They talked a lot. It could be some random thing like “That’s BUNK!” or “Dude, what type of shot is THAT?” Today, when Joe shot a goal, he yelled, “THAT’S FOR DEMI!” It was really sweet, actually.

When he got off the ice, and ran over and hugged him. “"Hi to you too.," He said. I grinned. “"You were really good."” Joe gave his best “that’s-because-I-am” look at me, and sidled off to take his equipment home.


We walked home together. “So, any news?” He asked, prompting me. He liked to know my schedule-so he could be there. “"Oh my gosh! YES!”" I said, going into talk at once. "“I saw an advertisement for a talent search and I’'m gonna audition on the first of June! Wait-can you come?"” Call me impulsive, but I was really excited.

"“I-I can’t go.”"
