I happened to notice that my user photo on Facebook was very similar to my friend Rich's, so I wanted to play around with morphing his photo to mine.

First, I took out the background from each of our photos, then I used the program FantaMorph 4 to morph our pictures (as PNGs with transparent backgrounds).

Next, I used Adobe After Effects to bring in the frames as a sequence, add a background, and do the camera movement.

  • How do you get your morph to last more than a blink of an eye in your video? I bought this program several months ago and played with it a bit. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. My video would be just seconds long? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • @pax41 I believe that in the top right of the Preview window, there is are little up/down arrow buttons. Those increase the number of frames in the morph. Let me know if that helps.

  • @jlyon1515 Thanks I will try it and let you know. Did you have to do anything special to it when you put it into Movie Maker?

  • @pax41 I didn't use Movie Maker. Check the description of the video. :)
