@clumpofdirt77 ... worship her. these sites are approved for adoration, but you're not REQUIRED to do it. If you want to be a Catholic, all you're required to do is believe in the transubstantiation, apostolic succession, confession of sins, so on and so forth. There is the communion of saints which says we can ask somebody who has died in God's favor to pray for us, but you don't have to focus yourself on Marian devotion.
Hope this helps.

I would really like to become a Roman Catholic, but I cannot get past a lot of what is taught about Mary. I understand that she mothered Jesus Christ; I understand that she was/is (?) the Ark of the New Covenant; I know that she is worthy of much respect and admiration. However, I am VERY uncomfortable with how much devotion is paid to her within the RCC -- I believe it borders on worship. I know the RCC doesn't condone Marian worship, but its Marian doctrine makes it too easy to cross the line.

Our Lady of Good Success. THE apparition which no one talks about because it actually speaks ills of the Church..in the sense that it is going to diffcult times.

@flormat30 What do you mean, look at the lifestyles of the seers and priests and nuns? I'm just curious.

@kubicam I THINK LIKE YOU EXACTLYYYYYYYY!!!!! On Medjugorie...well...you would not believe the things I know about these so called aparitions. Look at the messages (the recent ones) look at the life style of the seers, the priests and nuns involved, look closely at everything and youll know something is up. The devil, remember, is a very very smart creature...he is sutil, not in your face kind of thing!
By the way..I am a practising orthodox catholic...
I think there's a danger of putting too much emphasis on private revelation. I can't help but thinking that if the Church ever does come down against things like Medjugorje, it'll lead to disobedience or worse. I don't want to be too skeptical of them either, but like we saw at Fatima and Lourdes, real apparitions can handle the pressure ;)
And thanks for putting these up - I know it adds to someone's workload, but it's great to put some faces to the names!

Excellent topic and information for fellow Catholics. Most Catholics realize that anything of a sacred nature is to be kept just that. ♰
