here's a demo clip of the bassline for the song (into the groove)it needs cleaning up with the correct notes etc. the sound is created by using very short decay times. the minimoog's two of the three oscillators were very finely tuned by myself to get that grit sound that the minimoog growls out. and the third oscillator has been set for wheel modulation. if you know what i mean. these synths sound much better in real life.

  • I am 16 and i love the vintage synths. I'm trying to save up for a moog source :D

  • @TheTeknite wow thats excellent. i do really like the moog source. i dont have the mini anymore i kept the source. if you ever come to london. you can see them

  • @lewisjp8young just wondering. why did you get rid of your minimoog?

  • @layzeee hey. i wanted an older one to be honest , like an R.A minimoog maybe. but they are too expensive now. and i really love my moog source. it sounds awesome. tho i do still love the minimoog

  • i got a minimoog too, what settings are you using to get that great sound?!?

  • rather than turn the filter up. turn it low. and tune those oscillators up as well. good luck

  • @2strong2cool yes it does buttmuncher

  • @TheTeknite Hey Man, I'm 16 too! I fell in love with vintage synths about four years ago. My first ever analog synth was an early ( and I mean early, serial no. 032!) 1975 ARP Axxe. I immediately fell in love with ARP gear, and after 3 years of painfully watching eBay auction after auction with low funds, I finally was surprised by my mother with the synth of my dreams, a 1975 ARP Odyssey! I hope you get yourself a Source soon as well!

  • Wow! That's a great playing technique!

  • Can the Voyager do the same bass with same bottom end? Cheers
