Robin's little talk reminds me of Tim Drake from the Batman Beyond Animated Series Movie, "The Return of the Joker." About the Robins all wanting to grow up and become the Batman, but never really achieving that. It's a little hard for all of them to take that you can't just be the Batman, it's something really dark and it doesn't just happen. The Batman is THE Batman. It's heartbreaking, especially with what happened in the end to Robins like Jason Todd.
