At nearly 70 ,Joan Baez is still at it singing for peace and justice! She marched with Dr.Martin Luther King in Selma ,Alabama when she was little more than a girl back in '63, and when doing so in" Sweet Home Alabama "COULD prove dangerous to your health! She DEFINITELY does not need the money or publicity,Ms. Baez continues to sing for these causes because she is one of the few humans in the music biz who really gives a damn .Que Dios te bendica por siempre,SENORA Baez!

Do you imagine any of those Tea Party retards has a clue who Joe Hill was. Joan keeps the spirit of Woody Guthrie alive, and democracy ticking. And made Dylan's songs listenable, backed by the Nashville cats who loved her.

It was a free concert in DC at an anti-war protest, so all the artists were obviously discussing their anti-war views. We went to hear the music and take photos.
